CANCELLATION POLICY

The Vault By Nicole Strachan 12 Burtis ave. New Canaan, Connecticut Appointment Cancellation & No-Show Policy We kindly ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Because each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, late cancellations and no-shows affect our stylists and other clients waiting for that time slot. Notice requirements and fees are based on the length of your scheduled service, as outlined below. Notice & Fee Schedule How Cancellation Fees Work Card on file: A credit card is required to reserve all appointments. Your card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, as described in this policy. How to cancel: Cancellations or changes must be made by phone, text, or through GlossGenius. Notice is effective at the time it is received, not when the appointment was originally scheduled. Late arrivals: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show, or may have their service modified to fit the remaining appointment time, at the stylist's discretion. First-time courtesy: First-time late cancellations or no-shows may be waived as a courtesy at our discretion. Repeated occurrences will result in the fee being applied and may require a deposit for future bookings. This courtesy does not apply to K-Tip extension appointments once hair has been ordered; the deposit is non-refundable in that case regardless of notice given. Deposits for Extended & Specialty Services Appointments for bridal services, extensions, and color correction require a $500 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is applied toward the cost of your service when you keep your appointment. If the appointment is cancelled within the required notice window or rescheduled, the deposit will be transferred to your new appointment date. Deposits forfeited due to late cancellation or no-show will not be transferred. For K-Tip extension appointments, once hair has been ordered for your service, the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance, including cancellations made within the notice window. This does not apply to Invisible Bead Extensions. Exceptions We understand that emergencies and illness happen. If you cancel outside of the required notice window due to illness, a doctor's note will be required for the late cancellation fee to be waived. Other exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of The Vault By Nicole Strachan. By booking an appointment with The Vault By Nicole Strachan, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
